Shishuvatika is a joyful and child-centred early childhood education programme that focuses on the holistic development of every child. At Vidyadhiraja Vidyapeetom Central School, Shishuvatika provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children learn through play, activities, interaction and exploration.
The programme focuses on developing the child’s language, communication, cognitive, physical, social, emotional and creative skills. We believe that every child is unique and provide age-appropriate experiences that help children learn with confidence, curiosity and joy.
Our approach gives importance to activity-based learning, experiential learning, Communicative English, phonics, stories, rhymes, art, music, movement and outdoor experiences.

An early learning programme designed to help children develop basic social, communication and motor skills through play and interaction.

A foundation programme focusing on early literacy, numeracy, communication, phonics, creativity and social development.

Prabhath
Age 5 to 6
A preparatory programme that strengthens language, reading, writing, numeracy, communication and independent learning skills.

Fee Structure
The Shishuvatika fee structure is planned to make the payment process simple and convenient for parents.
School fee
₹5,000 per instalment

Transport / bus fee is not included in the school fee. Transport fee will be applicable separately for students availing the school bus facility.
Parents are requested to follow the fee payment schedule communicated by the school.
School Timings
8:50 AM – 3:15 PM
The daily schedule includes classroom learning, activity sessions, play, creative experiences, stories, rhymes and other age-appropriate learning activities.
Transport
- School transportation is available for students who opt for the bus facility.
- Transport fee is separate from the school fee.
- Bus routes and availability will be communicated during admission.
- Parents can contact the school office for route and transport-related details.
Learning pathway
Books & Curriculum
The Shishuvatika programme follows an age-appropriate, activity-oriented curriculum designed to build a strong foundation for future learning.
The prescribed books and learning materials are from Macmillan Education.

Assessment & Holistic Report Card
Assessment at Shishuvatika is a continuous and child-friendly process. We observe and understand each child’s learning and development through classroom activities, participation, interaction and age-appropriate tasks.
Assessment includes

- Term I Examination — October
- Term II Examination — March
Holistic Progress Report Card
At the end of the academic year, a Holistic Progress Report Card is issued to provide parents with an overall picture of the child’s development.
